Thomas Lee Byrd

Thomas Lee Byrd, 58 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away on January 11, 2015, at his home of natural causes due to an extended illness.He was born April 4, 1956 in Parkersburg, W.Va. a son of the late Lee and Donna Sue Cross Byrd.Thom attended Parkersburg High School, he was an artisan and loved fishing and hunting and collecting arrow heads. He was a #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys andwas a wonderful husband, daddy, pap and brother.He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Tammy Lynn Gray Byrd; his children, Aaron Keith Sims (Mary) of NC, Thomas Lee Byrd II (Sarah) of ND, Meagan Alexis Rader (Randal), and Ariana Sue Byrd both of Vienna; grandchildren, Colleen, Mollie, Malachi, Dylan, Talia andXander all of whom he loved very much; his siblings, James William Byrd of Parkersburg, Fefe Gordon (Jeff) of Walker, W.Va., Melissa Cunningham (Eric) of Davisville, W.Va., Tina Bailey (P-nut) of Harrisville, W.Va., and MannyDefrietas of Parkersburg; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, brother and sister-in-laws. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed.There will be a gathering of his family and friends at his residence after the funeral and burial service.Funeral services will be held January 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, with Pastor Larry Dale officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Parkersburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
