Theodore William Paul Jr., 68 of Mineral Wells, WV, passed peacefully and quietly surrounded by family on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Ted was born October 15, 1949 in Buffalo, NY. and spent most of his life in Buffalo, NY before moving to Mineral Wells, WV. in ’91. A lifelong Bills fan, he graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School and from St. Bonaventures University. He taught school for several years and then began working for Radio Shack. During this time Ted met and married Darlene in 1978. They had 40 years of life and love together. He loved God and served Him and his family faithfully. Ted excelled at serving customers as the manager of several stores over the years and instilled in all his children an unshakeable work ethic. He loved computers, even running his own computer newsletter in the mid to late 80’s called “The Coco Clipboard”. A lifelong lover of education, Ted went on to earn his MBA with a perfect grade point average while working full time. A history buff to the end. Ted also loved HAM radio and nature shows. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends and everyone who knew and loved him. Ted is survived by his wife Darlene Paul (Sobczyk) and 11 children; Meredith (James) Raber, Theodore J. Paul, Emily (Cory) Carr, Matthew J. Paul, Barbara G. Paul, Kevin M. Paul, Eileen (Jon) M. Winsley, David R. Paul, Philip N. Paul, Brian P. Paul and Mary E. Paul; 8 grand-children Taylor, Amy, Reese, Piper, Cameron, Henry, Madalynn and Peter…who joined us the same day Dad left; 5 siblings , Barb Paul, Katie Paul (Gilbert) Loeb, Virginia Paul (Robert) Wolbert, Douglas (Katherine) Paul, and Timothy (Diane) Paul; 9 nieces and nephews and 3 great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Theodore Paul Sr. and Molly (Marion) Paul (Johnston). Services for Ted will be held at 12:00 P.M. July 28, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 3300 Rosemar Road, Vienna, WV, with Pastor John Lands officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 27th. From 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
