Born in Parkersburg, WV on April 24, 1948 to Donald and Mildred (Packett) Jackson and entered eternal life on December 16, 2017. During his youth, Larry was an active member of the West Virginia 4-H program, receiving many awards including the highest honor of being inducted into the WV All Stars. Larry was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, Glenville State College and Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. He taught elementary school in Wood County, WV before entering the ministry. Father Jackson was the retired rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Parkersburg and served churches in Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ruby Jean (Keith); a son, Christopher (Guilherme); a daughter, Becky (Bernie); and a granddaughter, Jordyn Gardner-Keith. He is also survived by two brothers, Phillip (Cathy) and Paul (Rose); a nephew, Matthew (Jody); nieces, Dixi Gathman (Trevor), Cheyenne Keith and Lauren Keith; great nephews, Gannon and Ryan Jackson; and great nieces, Miah and Anna Gathman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Hazel Jackson, Lucille Jackson, George and Pearl Packet; father-in-law, Marion Keith; and a nephew, Jeremiah Jackson. Visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm Tuesday, December 19th at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg. Celebration of Life will be held at 11am at Trinity Episcopal Church, Parkersburg on Wednesday, December 20th. The officiant will be The Right Reverend W. Michie Klusmeyer. The homilist will be The Reverend Arthur L. Bennett, III. The Gospeler will be The Very Reverend Paul L. Hicks. A service will be held at John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home in Indiana, PA on Thursday, December 21st at 2 pm with visitation for the hour preceding the service.
