A Video Tribute to Terry is now available on this site.Terry William Spears, 63 of Petroleum, W.Va. passed away Dec. 2, 2014 in Ritchie County, W.Va.He was born January 27, 1951 in Parkersburg, W.Va. son of the late William “Bud” Spears and Doris McCrady Spears. He was a Viet Nam War veteran serving in the Special Forces as a Green Beret. He was a mechanic by trade and enjoyed hunting and riding ATVs.Terry is survived by three daughters, Julie Spears Jones (Michael Shane Jones), Carrie Spears, and Amanda Spears (Nathan Moler) all of Walker; brothers &sisters, Tammy Kay Huffman, Penny Morriston, Sherry Stanley, Harold Drennen, and Robyn Lee Spears; grandchildren, Sammie Cain, Haley Spears, Joseph Moler, Devyn Hall, and Terry James “T.J.” Conley; and the mother of his daughters, Karen Richards.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters; and granddaughter, Abigail Ferrell.Visitation will be from2:00 p.m . to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 with a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg, W.Va.
