Terry James Lee

Terry James Lee, 58, of Vienna, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025. He was born on September 11, 1966, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the son of the late Betty Lee and Charles Taylor. 

Terry was a proud graduate of Parkersburg High School Class of 1985 and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army from 1985 to 1989. After his military service, Terry devoted his life to his family, working in various occupations over the years to support and care for those he loved. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, known for his quiet strength, loyalty, and deep love for his family. A true history buff, Terry had a passion for learning about the past and could often be found sharing interesting facts or little-known stories from history. He also had a gift for humor—always knowing how to lighten the mood with a perfectly timed joke or a story that left everyone laughing. His warmth, wit, and storytelling will be deeply missed. 

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Cythina Lee, and their children: Mallory (Jon Fields), Chad Lee (Kalynn Gwynn), and Hannah (Gavin Haught). He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren: Zane Jackson, Layla Jackson, Theean Fields, Brantley Lee, Penelope Nestor, Archibald Haught, Conrad Haught, and Tatum Lee. 

Terry’s legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the memories he helped create with love, laughter, and wisdom. Terry’s wishes were not to have a formal service. With that being said, on Saturday September 20th from 2pm -5pm there will be a celebration of life at the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 565 Hall located at 593 Cedar Grove Rd, Parkersburg WV 26104.
