Teresa Jean James

Teresa Jean James, 60, of Parkersburg passed away October 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 2, 1958 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Robert Young and Barbara Cunningham Young Kirl. She was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School and had worked at The Bureau of Public Debt. Teresa enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, hiking, fishing, arrowhead hunting and her family. Teresa is survived by two sons, Channing Smith and Chauncy James both of Parkersburg; two sisters, Donna Young and Mary Young both of Parkersburg; two brothers, Billy Young of Parkersburg and Bobby Young of Florida; and three grandchildren, Chauncy James, Brinkley James and Kiliegh Batton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Young; a granddaughter, Kira James; and her favorite uncle, Ike Cunningham. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
