Sue Harris

Elmer Sue Burriss Harris, 74, wife of the late Larry Dale Harris, passed away September 12, 2026.

A native of Greer, daughter of the late James Reuben Burriss and Geneda Earline “Penny” Howard Burriss, she was a homemaker.

Surviving is a daughter, Tosha Smith of Williamstown, West Virginia; a sister, Della Mills (Curtis) of Moore, South Carolina, and three grandchildren, Justin, Kalin, and Kenley.

Mrs. Harris was predeceased by a sister, Katherine Burriss.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at The Wood Mortuary, Greer, South Carolina.
