Steven Eugene Pitts

Steven Eugene Pitts, 62, of Vienna, passed away May 20, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 11, 1956 in Parkersburg, the son of the late John and Mary Jenkins Pitts. He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School. He worked several years at Johns-Manville and also worked at Worthington Manor. He enjoyed carpentry, woodworking and swinging on his back porch. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Steve is survived by one daughter, Stacie Pitts (Josh) of Waterford, OH; one son, David Pitts (Megan) of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Molly Pitts, Jaiden Pitts and Jesse Snider and one on the way; one brother, Scott Pitts of Vienna. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Pitts who passed March 20, 2016. Funeral services will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Reverend Carolyn Nettles officiating. Inurnment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
