Steven B. McCormick “Mac”, 55, of Vienna, W.Va., went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 25, 2010.He was born June 3, 1955, in Charleston, W.Va., a son of the late Charles and Joanne Lockhart McCormick.Steve was employed as a paramedic with the St. Joseph Ambulance Service and was a 32 year veteran of Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital Ambulance Service. Steve's family was the most important thing in his life and he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He also enjoyed music, flying, hunting and boating with those dearest to him. He was a member of Jefferson Baptist Temple.He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Lynn McCormick; daughter, Heather McCormick of Parkersburg, W.Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Kelli McCormick of Huntington, W.Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Melissa McCormick of Parkersburg, W.Va.; grandson, Evan McCormick of Huntington, W.Va.; brother, Earl McCormick; brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Joanna McCormick; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Carolyn Roush; and numerous other family and friends, including nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Allen McCormick.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 at Jefferson Baptist Temple in Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Kevin Lantz and Rev. Ron Little officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
