Stephen L. BrannonStephen L. “Steve” Brannon, 64, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on March 25, 2011 in Belpre, Ohio.He was born July 23, 1946, in Spencer, W.Va., a son of the late Earl Paul and Finetta Moss Brannon.Steve graduated from Spencer High School, was employed at Kraton Polymers in Belpre and was a member of the Laborers Union #639.He was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and enjoyed his animals.He was a wonderful husband and a loving father.He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cheryl Miller Brannon; four children, Earl Paul Brannon and Robert Brett Brannon (Crystal), both of Parkersburg, Stephanie Finetta Anderson (Kevin) of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and Alicia Dawn Brannon of Parkersburg; four sisters, Frances Greathouse of Spencer, Violet Gregg of Vienna, W.Va., Linda Carpenter and Brenda Cain, both of Spencer; four brothers, Donald L. Brannon and Donzel Ray Brannon, both of Parkersburg, Leonard Paul Brannon of Akron, Ohio and Elijah Brannon of Orville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Brannon; and one sister, Clara Starcher.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Phil Prunty officiating.Interment will follow at Otto Cemetery in Spencer, W.Va.Visitation will be from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
