Stephen Lee Higgins,

Stephen Lee Higgins Sr., 73, of Parkersburg, W.Va. went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2015.He was born November 17, 1941, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Lillian Wells and George Higgins Sr.Steve was a 1959 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He had worked at Couch Tire, had been store manager at Tire Track in Vienna, and was owner and operator of Tires & More. He was an ordained minister and a member of South Parkersburg Southern Baptist Church. He worked as a Host at the Mountaineer Restaurant. He is survived by two sons, Timothy Higgins (Brianne) of Davisville, W.Va. and Stephen Lee Higgins Jr. (Toni) of Parkersburg; two brothers, Greg Higgins (Terry) of Belleville, W.Va. and George Higgins Jr. (Annie) of Parkersburg; one brother-in-law, Robert Swinson of Oakland, Md.; one grandchild, Austin Lee Higgins; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Judith Swinson.Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Paul Drake officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
