Stephen E. Calhoun, 67, of Vincent, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 28, 2014 surrounded by those he loved deeply, his wife of 41 years, Debbie Roberts Calhoun; sons, Nathan (Jaymie) and Jerrad (Deidra); and “Riley”, his faithful loving dog.He was a very proud grandfather (“papa”), of five wonderful grandchildren, Tanner, Haven, Reghan, Kenadi and Aniston (“Annie”) Calhoun. Steve is also survived by his sister, Carolyn S. Calhoun.Steve was a quiet, private man who loved to run, having completed several 1/2 marathons as well as a Columbus Marathon. He always loved and looked forward to his many trips to the WV mountains with his family and long hikes in the Dolly Sods Wilderness area where he would marvel at God's creation.Steve was a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and was always an avid Mountaineer Fan. He worked in retail management for many years as the store manager of the old G.C.Murphy Co. and most recently at Belk in the Grand Central Mall.Stephen was born September 16, 1947, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Ernest F. and Ethel Stephens Calhoun.The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Kelli Cawley for her kindness.A private family memorial service will be held in the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.In lieu of flowers, his family requests donationsbe made to the Humane Society of Parkersburg, P.O.
