Shirley Jean Richardson

Shirley J. (Richards) Richardson, 80, of Belpre, OH, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Belpre Campus.

She was born April 11, 1945 in Glenville, WV, a daughter of the late Coy and Oval Parsons Richards.

Shirley was a member of Christian Life Center, where she was a faithful door keeper for decades. Serving, helping and loving all describe Shirley well She was always willing to pitch in and never wanted to be in the spotlight. She loved her church and her church family.

Shirley was an avid yard seller and enjoyed collecting Native America memorabilia.

Shirley is survived by her sister, Louise Yeager of Belpre; her children, Robert and Vicie Richardson of Texas and Michelle and Craig Holley of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Bethany and Randal, Holly and Kenny, David and Jennifer, Kelly and Buddy, Sara and Levi and Erik and Melissa; her sisters-in-law, Joe Sams and Jeannie Richards; and many beloved nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Gladys Roberts and Eloise Weaver, and brothers, Bill, Jim, Burlen (Bunk) and Grant Richards.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Christian Life Center.
