Shirley Ann Hill

Shirley Ann Hill, 76 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away August 22, 2015, at her home.She was born September 15, 1938 in Oak Hill, W.Va. a daughter of the late William Richard and Marion Louise Callaghan. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Larry Franklin Hill.Shirley graduated from Dunbar High School. After marrying and moving to Parkersburg, Shirley worked as a telephone operator for C & P Telephone and later for Nashua Photo until retiring. Shirley served as president of the Wood County PTA and was a member of the Lubeck Church of Christ where she taught many children the Bible and also Ladies' Bible Classes. Shirley is survived by a brother, William Callaghan (Patti) of Lutz, FL; three children, Belinda Bargeloh (Mark) of Concord, NC, Charles Hill (Paula) of Parkersburg, and Patricia Hill of Parkersburg. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Rachel Bagnasco (Daniel), Nathan Bargeloh, Tabitha Hill, Eric Hill, and Hannah Phillips (Conner); one great-grandchild, Isaak Phillips with two more arriving soon. Funeral services for Shirley will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike Street with Evangelist Steve Fuchs officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
