Shirley May Eickert

Shirley M. “Leu” Eickert, 74, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away peacefully on Sunday April 17, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1941, in Clinton, Iowa, a daughter of the late John H. and Ethel A. Crumb Leu. She was a homemaker, enjoyed craft shows, flea markets and being with her friends. Leu was a Lutheran by faith. She is survived by one son, Mark Eickert (Mary) of Little Hocking, Ohio; two grandchildren, Mark Eickert II and Matthew Eickert; one great-grandson, Graysen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne A. Eickert; and three brothers, Norman, Orval, and Wayne Leu. At Leu’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Her cremains will be inurned at Decatur United Methodist Cemetery in Little Hocking, Ohio.
