Shirley E.

Shirley E. Coe, 75, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away July 27, 2011, at the Arcadia Nursing Center. She was born June 25, 1936, in Ravenswood, W.Va., a daughter of the late William R. and Nola Bibbee Lange. Shirley retired after thirty-five years of service from Dupont as a computer specialist. She really enjoyed animals and was a lover of cats in particular. She was a faithful fifty-six year member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church. Surviving is one son, Michael Coe and wife, Melissa of Washington, W.Va.; and three grandchildren, Dylan, Logan, and Molly Coe.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin L. “Eddie” Coe, who passed away on February 5, 2009; and her brother, William Joseph Lange. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen South Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
