Sherry Martin

Sherry Lynn Martin, 64, of Washington, W.Va, passed away on November 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 30, 1952, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Charles and Georgia Atkinson Hupp. Sherry was retired from Camden Clark Medical Center where she was a registered nurse. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and will be missed by her family and friends. Sherry was a member of the Lubeck United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of forty five years, Roger Martin; her three daughters, Wendy Kuykendall (Ray) of Asheville, NC, Melissa Abilmona (Eric) of Washington and Susan Stoops (Erik) also of Washington; one sister, Janet Barnes of Walker, W.Va.; two brothers, Gary Hupp and Mike Hupp (Tammy) both of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Landon Abilmona, Kendall Abilmona and Lauren Kuykendall; her dog, Sam; her best friend, Kelly Oldaker; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Sherry was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Willison and Carolyn Snyder; brother in-law, Carl Barnes; and sister in-law, Barbara Hupp. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Lubeck Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
