Shelba Regina Mayle

Shelba R. Mayle age 78, of Belpre, OH, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born November 6, 1940 in Washington County, OH, a daughter of the late Robert and Lavada Ramsey Mayle. Shelba had previously worked for the State of Ohio Bureau of Unemployment Services in Columbus, Ohio and enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a member of the Barnett Ridge Church, Belpre. Shelba is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Ronald L. Mayle; her children, Marvin Mayle (Billie Jean) of Allenwood, PA, Roger Mayle of Augusta, GA and Connie Mayle (Robin) of Huntington, WV; her sister, Eloise Norris of Philippi, WV; grandchildren, Kendra Mayle, Terri Koch, Carolyn Humes and Laura Diehl; great-grandchild, Ayla Wilson; special niece, Melissa Males and several other nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gene, Robert and Rick Mayle; two sisters, Shirley Kennedy and Maxine Males; and one grandson, Wesley Mayle. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Jerry Rippy officiating. Interment will follow at the Barnett Ridge Cemetery, Belpre. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
