The link is at the bottom of the biography.Sharon Irene Windland, 72 of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on March 25, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born Sept. 2, 1941, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late John Vernon and Vada Irene Knight Nesselrode.Her greatest joy and peace came from her love of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, cooking, church choir and was very involved in her children's and grandchildren's lives. She liked gospel music, planting flowers, talking on the phone to keep up with family and friends. Her greatest joy on earth was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Faith Gospel Church.She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Daniel Windland Sr.; her children and grandchildren, Danny and Julie Windland of Mineral Wells, W.Va., and their children, Ryan(Paige), Sadie, Hannah Haddad (Justin), Zachary and Shane Windland; Brenda Windland of Mineral Wells, and her children, Ashley Beall (Larry) and Hillary Holmes (Joe); David and Teresa Windland of Parkersburg, and their children, Seth, Chelsea and Kaleb Windland; Timothy and Tesa Windland of Mineral Wells, and their children, Erricka, Timothy Jr. (Caitlin), Travis, Tyler and Tucker Windland; Rebecca and Ernest Grady and their children, Robert and Kenneth Grady; one sister, Linda Elschlager (Perry) of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; one sister-in-law, Betty Nessselrode of Parkersburg; great-grandchildren, Jaylee and BreAnn Dye, Sidney, Annalynn and Luke Windland, Jason Windland, and Lakin Haddad; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Stephen Nesselrode.Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 292014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkerburg, W.Va. with Pastor Sean Law officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to Salesian Missions, 2 Lefevre Lane, PO Box 30, New Rochelle, NY 10802-0030 or a charity of your choice in memory of Sharon.
