Sharon Rose Williams

Sharon Rose (Hupp) Williams, 72 years old of Parkersburg, WV, passed away at home under hospice care on Friday, September 15, 2017. She was born on September 10, 1945, in Wood County, a daughter of the late Raymond E. and Geneva B. (Knight) Hupp. Sharon graduated from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1963. She retired from Public Debt with 20 years of service to become a caregiver to her mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching WVU football. She was a member of the Camden Avenue Church of Christ. Sharon is survived by her children, 2 sons, Kelley (Angela) Alton and Kenneth Alton; 2 daughters, Robby Alton and Shana Yopp; two brothers, Larry P. Hupp and Kerry Hupp; nine grandchildren, Michiah, Kyle, Ryan, Andrew, Jennifer, Kendra, Katlyn, Haley and Dakotah. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Dale Hupp, Jake Hupp and 2 infant brothers; 2 ex-husbands, James E. Alton and Otis K. Yopp. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
