Sharon Kay Lowery

Sharon Kay Lowery, 76, of Parkersburg, W.Va. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2016. She passed away peacefully at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born April 25, 1940 in Calhoun County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Holten V. and Angebelle I. Ferrell Weaver. Sharon had worked at many professions throughout her life but was most accomplished at being a homemaker. She enjoyed working with ceramics and traveling. She was a member of Southside Southern Baptist Church and a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She leaves behind one daughter, Karen Lowery Sanchez and husband, Hector, of Parkersburg; one son, James Darren Lowery of Parkersburg; two daughters-in-law, Brenda Lowery of Livonia, Michigan and Evelyn Lowery of Guyton, Ga.; grandchildren, Brian Cuffe, Zac Cuffe, Lindsay and husband, Joe Moseller, Danielle Arrington, Kristie Lowery and her “main man”, Chase Arnold; three great-grandchildren, Samuel, Brantley and Kynli; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones, all of whom provided Sharon with a lifetime of fond memories. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Arless Darren Lowery in 2014; two sons, Craig Thomas Lowery and Chris Todd Lowery; one brother, Larry R. Weaver; one step-brother, Larry Arnold; and brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Gladys Lowery. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg with Pastor Joe Casto officiating. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to Strecker Cancer Center, 401 Matthew Street, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
