Sharon Lucille Ruble Jenkins age 85 of Myrtle Beach, SC formerly of Parkersburg, WV passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
Sharon was born on December 13, 1940, in Parkersburg. She is a loving daughter to the late Clair and Mary P. Ruble of Parkersburg. In Sharon’s early years she worked at Jim Reynolds Insurance then moved to Blue Cross & Blue Shield where she retired. Throughout her life Sharon was known for her talent and love for the Lord and family. Sharon loved working in the church, she took great pride in playing the organ and piano in the church. She also had great accomplishments in her years. She taught Bible College, had a Christian Book published and had two CD recorded for gospel music. She loved the last group she was in the Crownsmen where they witness to so many people about Jesus. Sharon attended Spreading Truth Ministry and moved to Myrtle Beach with her daughter and son-in-law. She went to CLC Church. She was very active in Salt Sister. Family was Sharon heart of life. She loved to watch golf on Sunday afternoon with Monk and Brian, Billy. She loved to do Craft and bake with Anita & Robin and her grandchildren. She loved to garden with her grandson. Sharon loved when her grandkids would play music. She would smile.
Sharon is survived by her children, Anita Moree (Monk) of Myrtle Beach, Robin Jenkins of Parkersburg, Billy Jenkins Jr. of Myrtle Beach and Brian Jenkins of Myrtle Beach; her sister, Patricia Holbert; seven grandchildren, Crystal Smith (Jeromy), Brittany Furr, Chuckie Prunty III all of Myrtle Beach, Justin Jenkins of Wyoming, Ryan Jenkins of Arizonia and Skylar (Keyhleigh) and Austin VanCamp of Parkersburg and 14 great-grandchildren, Gage, Tylar, Christian, Gaiden, Calista, Audrey, Christopher, Jaxon, Bella, Lyric, CJ, Roman, Ava and Aden and one great-great-grandchild, Shiloh Martinelli and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Jenkins, Sr.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Spreading Truth Ministries, Parkersburg with Pastor Ralph Tisdale officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 -8:00 pm Wednesday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, south Parkersburg.
