Sharon Kay Archer

Sharon Kay Archer, 75, of Rockport, WV, passed away peacefully at her residence April 28, 2024. She was born June 20, 1948 in Parkersburg to the late Curtis Glen Brown Sr. and Ruth Gessel Brown.

She is a graduate from Parkersburg High School. She loved being a wife and raising her family. She was a member of the Tri-County Worship Center in Rockport where she enjoyed spending time with friends and loved ones. She also enjoyed the companionship of her cats.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of over 55 years, Junior E. Archer; her two children, Michelle Wells (Stephen) of Parkersburg, and Nicholas Archer (Virginia) of Mineral Wells; her grandchildren, Chelsie and Zachary Wells; two siblings, Curtis G. Brown Jr. (Judy) of Mineral Wells, and Lois Jean Wilson of Parkersburg; and several nieces.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Randy Wilson, and a nephew, Dewayne Wilson.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, with the Pastors of Tri-County Worship Center officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4-7 pm, Wednesday, May 1st and one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home.
