Sharon Ann Anderson

Sharon Ann Amick Anderson, age 84 of Vienna, WV went to be with her family on Friday, September 19, 2025.

She was born November 23, 1940, in Leivasy, WV, a daughter of the late Talmadge and Laura Ruth McCutheon Amick. Sharon was retired as a Nursing Tech in the emergency room at Camden Clark Medical Center with over 22 years of service and had worked at the Colonial House Nursing for 9 years. She was a member of the Beechwood Presbyterian Church, where she helped in the after-school program. Sharon enjoyed going to concerts, shopping, crafts and enjoyed growing up with her children.

She is survived by her children, William L. Anderson, Jr (Laura) of Vienna and Tammy L. Anderson (Gretchen Layman) of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Misty Morris (Jayson), Rusty Anderson, Kyla Anderson, Vanessa Boswell (Blake) and Chase Anderson; great-grandchildren, Tyler Morris, Bailey Anderson and Kenzy Anderson; a very special friend, Nikola Dimitrov and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Anderson, Sr; son, Daniel Anderson; sister, Blenda Johnson and brothers, Eldon, James and Wayne Amick.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor Rick Hastings officiating. Entombment will follow at the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday and one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home.
