Sharon Lyn Abbott

Sharon Lyn Abbott, age 78, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born April 1, 1939 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lester E. and Mildred Byrd Lucas. Sharon was retired from E.I. DuPont after 23 years of service. She enjoyed sewing, collecting angels and Civil War reenacting. She is survived by her son, Brian Abbott (Teresa) of Parkersburg; her daughter, Deanna Abbott of Parkersburg; and three grandchildren, William, Joe and Luke Abbott. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
