Sarah Jane Starkey

Sarah Jane Starkey, 86, of Parkersburg passed away March 26, 2017 at Parkersburg Care Center. She was born September 14, 1930 in Harrison County, WV, daughter of the late Reverend Lloyd and Cora Ash Merriman. She was a homemaker. Sarah is survived by a son, Jackie Starkey of Mineral Wells, WV; a brother, Donald Merriman of Florida; grandchildren, Kendra Amos (Brandon) and Jeremy Starkey (Stacey) of Mineral Wells; and great-grandchildren, Bryley, Mason, Braxton, Brooklyn and Brady. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Starkey; a daughter, Sarah Mae Starkey; a son, Robert Alan Starkey; a sister, Louella Harris; three brothers, Frank, Bill and Herbert; and daughter-in-law, Drema Starkey. At her request there will be no services or visitation. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
