Sarah Lou Hartshorn

Sarah Lou Hartshorn age 75, of Parkersburg, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born August 12, 1943 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Isaac and Elsie Tuell Ward. Sarah was retired from the Marietta Memorial Hospital with over 32 years of service, enjoyed playing games on the computer and collecting angels. She is survived by her three children, Doug Hartshorn of Parkersburg, Vicki Hartshorn of Parkersburg and Rick Hartshorn of Vincent, OH; one brother, Frank Ward of Williamstown; two sisters, Dorothy Riser of Parkersburg and Zelma Joy of Florida; grandson, David Hartshorn of Parkersburg and several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Hartshorn, Sr.; her eldest son, Carl; two brothers, Charles and Leonard Ward; and one sister, Inez Westbrook. Funeral services will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Joe McCarry officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, September 29 at the funeral home.
