Sarah Christine Price

Sarah Christine Church Price, of Parkersburg, W.Va. went to be with the Lord on Jan. 27, 2013, from her residence. She was born in Belpre, Ohio, on Dec. 25, 1928, a daughter of the late Leamon and Ova M. Gregg Church. Sarah loved being with her family and grandchildren. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and growing flowers. She is survived by three daughters, Terry J. Swiger and husband, Darrell, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., Carrie L. Cross of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Patricia M. Mixer and husband, Donald, of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one son, Daniel L. Price of the home; two sisters, Ruth Dornon and husband, Bill, of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Loraine Calihan of Pennsylvania; one brother, Fred Church and wife, Rose of Vincent, Ohio; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Evelyn Duckworth of Parkersburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Elmer C. Price Jr.; two sisters, Naomi Church and Lillian Lohr; two brothers, Bob and Ivan Church; one son, Joseph Price; and two granddaughters, Hillary Swiger and Jenny Dawson. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 2333 Pike Street Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Dwayne Porter officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mondayat the funeral home.
