Sandra J. Staats

Sandra D. Staats, 70, of Washington, WV, departed this life July 13, 2018 at her residence. She was born January 8, 1948 in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Ronald and Velma Jones. Sandra graduated from PHS with the class of 1966 and retired from GE/SABIC in 2008. She is survived by her husband, Michael Staats; two brothers, Ronald Jones, Jr. (Patty) and Terry Jones (Eloise); brother-in-law, Steve Freshour; step-daughter, Josie Rabitin (Craig); step-grandchildren, Paige, Seth and Chandler Rabtin; her best friend, Velina Way and beloved yorkie, Molley, plus several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Monica Freshour. With the utmost gratitude, the family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and the staff Brandy and Emiley. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society of Parkersburg, 29th Poplar St, Parkersburg, WV. 26101. Visitation for Sandra will be from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, WV. 26101. The funeral service will be at 6:00 P.M. following the visitation at the funeral home.
