Sandra Lee Hammer Holliday, 72, of Lubeck, passed away on July 8, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born February 20, 1945, in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Adam Dale and Delphia Collins Hammer. Sandra began working with the Hills Department Store and later retired from Kmart on South side after thirty two years of service. She sang gospel music with special friends. Sandra also enjoyed cooking for family and friends, dirt track races, and spending time at the river where she liked boating and fishing. She is survived by her husband, William “Buzzy” Holliday; two sons, Russell Douglas Farnsworth of Vienna, William Eric Farnsworth (Susan Davis and her daughter, Taya Davis) all of Washington, WV and a step son, Dave Holliday (Irene) of Parkersburg; her two grandchildren, Steven Farnsworth and Emily Farnsworth and step granddaughters, Caliegh Holliday and Trisha Poole; three sisters, Lou McVey, Shelia Guthrie and Christy Miller; and a great niece and nephew who were very dear to her, Jolie and Carter Small. In addition to her parents Sandra was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Jenkins; grandson, Aron Farnsworth; and step daughter, Missy Poole. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Robbie Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
