Ruth Ann Hartleben Wigal went to her heavenly home July 3, 2019. She was born February 20, 1928 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Harry and Maude Riddle Hartleben. She was a 1946 graduate of PHS. After graduation, she worked for Western Union, Dr. McCuskey and Public Debt. Ruth Ann went on to become an LPN and worked in medical records for RIS. Ruth Ann was a lifelong member of First Christian Church and was involved in Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She loved gardening, going on vacations and dinners with “the gang”. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Seldon Wigal, Jr.; her daughter, Bev Hannan Estep; and her son, Lee Wigal (Janice). Also surviving are her three grandchildren whom she was so proud of, Lauren Ashley Estep, Mackenzie Rene Wigal and Zachary Lee Wigal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four siblings, Mary Belle, Betty, Harry and Grace. The family would like to thank Wyngate Senior Living and Housecalls Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019 at First Christian Church, Washington Ave. Parkersburg with Pastor Thad Allen officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
