Ruth Ann O'Dell

Ruth Ann O'Dell, 68, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away June 12, 2012 at Marietta Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born November 5, 1943, in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Dail and Olive Canary Clem.Ruth Ann was a homemaker and especially enjoyed computers. She also loved talking on the telephone and was a member of North Parkersburg Baptist Church.Surviving is one son, Mark Rapp and wife, Marla of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one step-daughter, Patty O'Dell of Vienna, W.Va.; one sister, Marilyn Boone of Florida; two grandchildren, Kayla and Codey Ramsey also of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two nephews, Mike Patton of Florida and Rick Patton of Chicago; and also a host of friends, including, her daughter-in-law Marla's mother, Frances Waldron who also resides in Parkersburg, W.Va. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth James O'Dell.Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 16, 2012 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Lester Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help offset unexpected expenses. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home or you may also direct any contributions to the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, on behalf of the O'Dell family.
