Ruth Carole Nowak

Ruth Carole Nowak, 85, passed away Feb. 26, 2015 at her daughter and son-in-laws home in Rockport, W.Va.She was born April 25, 1929, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., to Joseph Scotch and Bertha Bobinski.She moved to West Virginia in 2006.Ruth was a loving mother and homemaker.She was married to Henry Nowak who predeceased her in 2009.She was also predeceased by her parents; her brother, Joseph Scotch; and a great-granddaughter, Lillian Hawkes.She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Sammy Snyder of Rockport, and Deborah and Colin Hawkes of Ventura, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Calvin Roman, Robert Roman, Graham Hawkes, Robert Hawkes, Marc Snyder, Crishion Bunner, Marlea White, and Shasta Snyder; and seven great-grandchildren, Lucinda Snyder, Riley Bunner, Addison White, Benjamin Hawkes, Levi Hawkes, Jason Forshey and Mason White.There will be no visitation or services.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Pike St., south Parkersburg will the assisting the family.Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care, particularly, Morgan Smith, RN.Ruth's ashes will be placed in a rose garden by her husband's..
