Ruth Francis

Ruth Francis Dye, 84, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Eagle Pointe in Parkersburg.She was born July 13, 1930 in Parkersburg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David R. Wood. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, co-owner of Dye Band Instrument Repair and a member of the Wayside United Methodist Church.Ruth is survived by her son, Lloyd S. Dye, Jr.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd S. Dye, Sr., and many brothers and sisters.Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Reverend Gary Markins officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wayside United Methodist Church, 3001 Grand Central Avenue Vienna, WV 26105.
