Ruth Emogene Wigal age 86, of Parkersburg passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at her residence. She was born December 24, 1930 in Rockport, WV, a daughter of the late Elihu and Roxa Henthorn White. Ruth enjoyed gardening, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Sunrise Church of Christ. She is survived by her four children, Terry Wigal and wife Carol, Bonnie Weideman and husband Larry, Michael Wigal and wife Karen, and Mark Wigal and wife Kris; one brother, Delbert White and wife Arlene; one sister, Eva O'Dell and husband Sam; grandchildren, Eric Wigal, Angela Anthill, Kevin Wigal, Randall Wigal, Jennifer Carder, Christie Stitzlein, Renee Myers-Carnes, Curtis Myers, Tonya Mishler, Joshua Wigal and Heather Carney; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Guinevere, Gabbie, Belle, Sophi, Calie, and Lex Wigal, Emma, Katie and Chase Stitzlein, Kelsey Eagle, Kaylyn Wigal, John Carder, Angel Wigal, Donovan Carnes, Braxtyn Mishler, and Talia Carnes. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Glen Wigal, August 2005; one son, Steven Ray Wigal; one infant sister; four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Keith Kress officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
