Ruth Eleneita Byrd

Ruth Eleneita Byrd, 80, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away January 12, 2017 at the Willows Center in Parkersburg. She was born September 24, 1936 in Eatons, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Koehline Horner. Ruth was in retail sales (Dils Brothers). She was a member of First Baptist Church of Parkersburg and was an avid bowler. She enjoyed spending time with family. She is survived by two sons; Jeffery Byrd of Parkersburg and Robert Byrd (Imee) of San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren, Arabella and Andrew Byrd, and Ricky and Zachary Fernandez. Ruth was like a mother to Robin Bartlett and Clesea Yates. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three children, Tammy Byrd, James Byrd and Greg Michael Byrd. In accordance with Ruth's wishes there will be no visitation or services.
