Russell Everett Wallace

Russell E. Wallace, 82, of Parkersburg, passed away July 19, 2024 at the Ravenswood Care Center. He was born October 10, 1941, a son to the late John Edgar and Carrie Amelia Byrd Wallace. He served our country honorably in the United States Army and later served many years for the City of Parkersburg as a concrete finisher. He was a member of Gihon Tabernacle, and enjoyed serving and helping others. Left to cherish his memory is his niece, Angela Siers (Kevin) of Belleville; two nephews, Alan Sinnett (Andrea) of Miconnelsville, OH., and Doyle Sinnett (Becky) of Parkersburg; two brothers, Chester Wallace of Cummings, GA., and Mike Wallace of Parkersburg; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Cheuvront Wallace; a sister, Margaret Jane Park, and a brother, Edgar Lee Wallace. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, July 26, 2024, at Sunset Memory Gardens with Pastor Kevin Siers officiating. Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, is honored to serve the Wallace family.
