Ruby Rae Webb

Ruby Rae Tefft Webb, 84 of Belpre, Ohio passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Marietta Center. She was born January 5, 1930 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Maurice S. and Reda R. Burkhart Tefft. Ruby was a 1948 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She had previously worked at the Dil's Department Store of Parkersburg, where she was a store manager. Ruby also worked at the Stone & Thomas and Diamond Department Stores in the Grand Central Mall until her retirement. She was a member of the Gihon United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed working with the church food pantry and loved working for Housecalls Hospice of Parkersburg. Ruby is survived by one sister, Evelyn V. Gilchrist of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Maurice L. Tefft of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and three grandchildren, Julie, Grant and Crista.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Webb; one son, William M. Webb; two daughters, Janet L. Baker and infant Linda Webb; one brother, Lewis S. Tefft; and twin sisters, Katherine Louise and Juanita Lucille Tefft.There will be no visitation or services per Ruby's request. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Belpre.
