Ruby Alene Jones

Ruby Alene Hudnall Jones, 94, of Parkersburg, W.Va. died Friday, June 5, 2015 at home. She was born May 6, 1921 in Kanawha County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Roscoe L. and Blanche Myers Hudnall.She was a mother, homemaker, and in later years, a receptionist at Salon de Barbara K of Lakeview Estates. Ruby was a member of Stout Memorial Church and Cheylan Eastern Star Chapter #101 for over 50 years.Ruby is survived by one daughter, Sharon Toothman (Allen) of Ravenswood, W.Va.; one son, Elven L. Jones (Freda) of Vienna, W.Va.; one sister, Nancy Frey of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren, Douglas A. Jones, Angela Jones Roach, and Joseph T. Jones; and five great-grandchildren.The family would like to express appreciation to Ruby's caregiver in her last days, Sharon Lemley.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joe L. Jones; one daughter, Barbara K. Deel; five brothers; and one sister.Funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg with Pastor Randall Fuson officiating and will conclude with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
