Rozala Currey Sheltz

Rozala Holmes Currey Sheltz, 62 of Parkersburg passed away April 19, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 6, 1955 in Wood County, WV, daughter of the late Harold H. and Ula M. Sims Holmes. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and cooking. She also was involved with the Girl Scouts. Rozala is survived by her husband, Danny Sheltz; a daughter, Felicia Currey of DeFiance, Ohio; a son, Ray H. Currey of Beverly, Ohio; two step-sons, Danny Sheltz II of Atlanta, GA and Brian Keith Sheltz of Piedmont, SC; two grandchildren, Ray L. and Cindy Currey; and eight step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Dwain Holmes; maternal grandmother, Gladys Armel; an uncle, Ed Hammer; and an aunt, Lillian Hammer. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday April 24, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, WV with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home.
