Rosie Jane Wolfe, 89, of Parkersburg, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born December 16, 1929, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Harley and Minnie May Hicks. Rosie retired from AB Chance after 36 years of service and attended Big Tygart Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Deloris Church, Carolyn Cummings (Chuck), Bruce Wolfe (Theresa) and Rodney Bonnell (Stacey); a son in-law, Chester Sholes; sister, Wilma Sams (Ralph); brother, Creed Hicks; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by one daughter, Rosalee Sholes; son in-law, George Church; four sisters, Bonnie Lucas, Donnie Arthur, Joy Marquise, and Ilene Echols; and brother, Delbert Hicks. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Matt Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
