Rosetta "Rosie" Combs

Rosetta “Rosie” Combs, 87, of New Albany, IN, formerly of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on December 16, 2015 at her residence. She was born July 5, 1928, in Chilo, Ohio, a daughter of the late William Warren and Ethel Wainscott Souder. Rosie was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and flowers. She was a member of the Bible Community Church. She is survived by ten children; one sister; 44 grandchildren; and 118 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bud” Combs; three brothers; one sister; and three children. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Daniel Gilley officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. ntil time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
