Rose Mary West

Rose Mary West, 80, of Rockport, W.Va. passed away May 1, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born August 22, 1934 in Greenwood, W.Va., a daughter of the late Philmore and Rose Prichard Nichols. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School.She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed cooking and working puzzles. Rose attended the Church of God church.She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Paul West; daughter, Teresa Vukosa (Nicolai) of Belmont, NY; two sons, Joe Thompson (Margo) of Vienna and Paul Thompson of Columbus, OH; six step-children; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Thompson; a daughter, Evelyn Reger; and a brother, Philmore Nichols, Jr.Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Chaplain David Kaufman officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
