Rose Marie Caltrider

Rose Marie Johnson Caltrider, born July 8, 1944, passed away at the age of 81 on March 4, 2026 at the Cedar Grove Assisted Living facility. She was born in Mooresville, a daughter to the late George W. and Pearl E. Jones Johnson.

Rose was a bus driver for the Wood County B.O.E. for 20 years. She attended church services at the Belpre Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with the Bible Study Fellowships. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and working with flowers. She was also known to be quite the handy lady when it came to home improvement tasks.

Her memory will be carried on by her daughter, Rebeckah Caltrider of Parkersburg; sister, Zoa Ruth Johnson of Fairview; brother, John Johnson of Parkersburg; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband, Delmar Caltrider.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg, with Kyle Inman officiating. Gathering of family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
