Ronald Walter Thompson

Ronald Walter Thompson, 51 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Feb. 19, 2013 in Parkersburg.He was born Sept. 12, 1961 in Parkersburg, son of Richard E. Thompson of Texas and the late Betty L. Cline Thompson Varner. He was an electrician and enjoyed woodworking.In addition to his father he is survived by a daughter, Virginia L. Thompson of NJ; a son, Ronald W. Thompson of CA; five sisters, Vickie Tanner (Allen) of Walker, W.Va., Sherry Mark (Tim) of Barberton, OH, Debbie Fenton (Fred) of Vienna, W.Va., Joy Lynn Watkins (Donny) of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Betty Ellen Hunt (Joe) of New Matamoras, OH; four brothers, Andrew Varner of Parkersburg, W.Va., David Varner (Cyndi) of Davisville, W.Va., Jeffrey Varner of Belleville, W.Va. and Russell “Bud” Varner (Aimee); and a granddaughter, Emma Thompson.In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Rickie Thompson and Richard Eugene Thompson.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Jim Yoak officiating. Visitation will be Noon to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
