Ronald Arden Rader, 82 of Little Hocking, Ohio passed away December 20, 2017 at his residence. He was born December 31, 1934 in Wood County, WV a son of the late Okey A. and Mary A. Ward Rader. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and worked for 35 years as a Maintenance Mechanic with BP Amoco. Ron was a former Vienna Volunteer Firefighter and EMT and was an Honorary Firefighter for Vienna. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Williamstown. Ron is survived by three daughters, Angie (Jimmy) Davis of Parkersburg, Stacie (Doug) Hartshorn of Devola, Ohio and Cindy (Terry) Lee of Vienna, WV; three step-daughters, Carla (Steve) Collins of Little Hocking, Lori (Greg) Kirk of Belpre, Ohio and Kim (Alan) Chevalier of Vincent, Ohio; two sons, Kurt (Shelly) Rader of Belpre and Paul (Melinda) Rader of Scott Depot, WV; one step-son, Steve (Cam) Gerber of Cottonwood Heights, Utah; one sister, Cathy Cover of Vienna; two brothers, Neil (Sandy) Rader and Warren (Ardith) Rader all of Vienna; 32 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren: and nine great great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy “Judy” Jackson Rader. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor Tom Hendershot officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
