Ronald Pigott

Ronald Pigott, 76, of Lubeck, W.Va., passed away Dec. 9, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born Sept. 2, 1940 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Glenwood S. and Elnora L. Lenox Pigott. He was a 1959 graduate of Parkersburg High School and retired after 38 1/2 years of service at E.I. DuPont. Ronald was a member of the Star Dusters Square Dance Club, the MOV Beekeepers Association, the Holiday Ramblers RV Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. He was a 25 year member of the Wood County 4-H Board and WV Interstate Fair Board. He was a member of the Lubeck United Methodist Church ,for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Joan Benson Pigott; two daughters, Angela (Edward) Wine of Proctorville, OH and Jeanna (Jeffrey) Barber of Parkersburg; a son, Kevin (Bridget) Pigott of Lubeck; two brothers, Paul (Jane) Pigott and Ted (Mary) Pigott all of Belleville, WV; grandchildren, Justin (Kristen) Wine, Carley (Steven) Thompson, Haley Barber, Kenzie Pigott, Alli Barber and Riley Pigott; and great-grandchildren, Adaleigh, Emmie and Harper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Dianne Pigott. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016 at Lubeck United Methodist Church with Pastor James Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg Memorial donations may be made to Lubeck United Methodist Church in reference to Sakpack @ 1771 Harris Highway Washington, WV 26181.
