He was born in Belleville, WV a son of the late Jack S. and Hazel C. Congrove Nutter.Ronald owned and operated Nutter Heating and Air Conditioning Company from 1963 to 1998; served in the Army from 1953- 1955, served 25 plus years in the National Guard retiring as Major; a member of the Aurelius Masonic Lodge #308 at Macksburg, OH, Marietta Shrine Club, Elks Club of Marietta, Classic Thunderbird Club International and attended the Marietta Church of Christ.He is survived by his wife Jacklyn Gerber Nutter; three sons Randy Nutter of Williamstown, Zane Nutter (Nancy) of Homestead, FL and Kevin Nutter of Grove City, OH; three grandchildren Joee Flanagan, Trent Nutter and Ashlie Nutter; a special cousin Sue Hunt of Berea, KY.Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday August 1, 2010 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 3005 Grand Central Ave Vienna with Roger Rush officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery Williamstown with Military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Post 159 Williamstown. Visitation will be Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 at the funeral home.
