Ronald J. Hastings

Ronald J. Hastings, 81, of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born April 7, 1938 in Altadena, CA, a son of the late Harold Hastings and Veda Lucille Bertoch Hastings Schneider. Ronald was a computer sales and marketing representative. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. Ronald attended the United Methodist Church of Williamstown. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Janice Whipkey Hastings; a son, Douglas Allen Hastings of Croften, MD; a sister, Bonnie Lynn Schneider of Richmond, CA; two grandchildren, Jessica and Greg Hastings; along with a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Ann Hastings Burgin; a son, Richard Scott Hastings; a sister, Jo Anne Hastings Williams; and a brother, Harold Bardell Hastings. At Ronald’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, WV.
