Ronald H. Frady

Ronald H. Frady 81, of Parkersburg,W.Va. passed away November 12, 2016 at Ohio Valley Health Care after an extended illness. He was born in Huntington, W.Va., December 12, 1934, the son of the late George F. and Sarah L. Heinlein Frady. His family moved to Parkersburg, when he was a child, and he attended Parkersburg Schools and graduated from PHS in 1952. He worked as a steel detailer, a profession he loved and in which he was very well respected. He was a partner in CGM Contractors, later owned Professional Detailing Service & Engineering Supply Company until his retirement. He was kind and generous, always willing to lend a helping hand. Ronald was a member of First Baptist Church and served there many years as a trustee. He was an avid Mountaineer and NASCAR fan but his greatest joy in life was his family. He married the love of his life, Alice Marie Padgett in 1957 and they recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. They had three children, Julie (Don) Grimm, Michael Frady and Jill (Simo) El Bilali all of Parkersburg. He was very proud of his six grandsons, Ryan Copley, Matthew (Crista) Copley, Mark Grimm, Jacob Frady, Ty Leisure and Chase Leisure. He had four beloved great-grandchildren, Caden Wingert, Landin Copley, Gabriella Grimm and Adelynn Copley. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Suda Scroggins, Sally Gainer and Rose Padgett plus numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna with Pastor Rich McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
